Intern European Equity (f/m)

Job Purpose/Role

We are seeking to recruit an intern who has knowledge of equity analysis to provide and assist the portfolio managers for European & Emerging Markets Equity. In this role, you will report and work closely with the portolio manager for Emerging Markets Equity Dividend Fund. You will be based in Frankfurt a.M..

Key Responsibilities

Main area of activity is to assist the fund manager in preparing the Investment Case in his / her investment

decisions. It includes in particular:

    Analyzing a company's operating environment (e.g. macro, political), market positioning and competitive environment.

    Analyzing a company's business model and the sustainability of its financial strength.

    Evaluating the equity value and up-side potential based on known evaluation methodologies.

    Summarizing the analysis and investment recommendation for the portfolio manager.

In order to conduct the above activity, you will be given the task to analyse company annual reports, company presentations and research reports, prepare and summarise meetings with sector specialists / analysts, contact company management and finally present the Investment Case to the fund manager.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

You are pursuing a post-graduate / Master's degree in economics, finance or business administration and have first experiences in the financial industry, a general interest in asset management, and the ability to handle confidential information

Additionally, you should possess:

    Knowledge of Equity markets

    Advanced computer literacy in MS-Office (esp. PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)

    Superior command of English and German, both written and spoken; an   additional major language (e.g. Chinese, Portugese, Spanish) would be a plus

     Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Ability to learn quickly, to work within an international team and to be self-motivated

You should have some basic knowledge about financial analysis and equity evaluation

You should have a passion for investing in stocks, preferably with own personal experience in stock investments.
