Account Manager

British Airways Account Manager – Beijing

British Airways, one of the world’s leading international airlines, is looking for dynamic sales professional to join our Commercial team in Beijing. We are looking for a highly motivated delivery focused individual with proven sales experience to drive revenue and develop our corporate/trade (travel agents) market in China. This is an exciting and challenging role with an opportunity to work within a dedicated team.

Job Purpose

Responsible for delivering and exceeding assigned sales targets by managing a portfolio of corporate/travel agency partners and deliver a revenue target through the identification and exploitation of revenue opportunities.

 

Skills & Experience required

Excellent spoken and written English & Mandarin essential

Minimum of 3-5 years Sales experience essential

Corporate/trade (travel agents or GSA) Account Management is desirable

Proven experience of face to face sales call and running client sales meeting

Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Proven influencing and negotiation skills

Excellent decision making skills

Target focused, action orientated, delivery focused

Excellent organisational skills; highly organised and planned at work

Strong ability to prioritise and manage time

High attention to detail and accuracy, and good numerical skills

Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure

Pro-active approach. With high energy and resilience

Highly self motivated and driven, and ability to work independently

University Educated is essential
